  • Please only arrive 5 minutes to your appointment. Sorry I do need time for set up and clean up between treatments.
  • Please arrive with no signs of sickness. If unwell, please cancel your appointment (even if it’s last minute) there is no late cancellation fee due to sickness.
  • Various options regarding the use of PPE are still available. Please inquire if concerned.
  • As always, hand sanitizer is available at my office door or on the shelf by the black bench.

LATE EVENING APPOINTMENTS - If you can’t come in earlier or work shifts and your schedule is usually up in the air until the last minute then this offering might help you out. - Please reach out if interested in booking past my online schedule. - Please noteI will not be doing direct billing after 7pm. Your invoice will have the relevant information you need to submit to your insurance yourself.

CAN’T FIND A TIME OR WANT A LONGER TREATMENT? - It is best to text me (604-725-2222) if you can’t find a time in my schedule. I sometimes have spaces that are not viewable online that only I can see on the back end. - Some blocks only allow for a 60 minute appointment, however you are more than welcome to reach out and I can see about extending or starting earlier. - Please don’t inquire via Instagram/Facebook etc I am not super active on there despite having an online presence. Text is best!

OCTOBER TO DECEMEMBER SCHEDULE - October will open up mid September for online booking. - I am happy to book you now between October and December if you want to plan ahead. - Please allow flexibility as some work schedule commitments/changes/special events for me might be unavoidable.

Evan Vandersluys RMT is a 2018 Graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT). His studies provided classroom education covering many common conditions and treatment modalities as well as in-depth studies of human anatomy and physiology. The school curriculum also included cadaver lab field trips as well as introductions to various advanced massage modalities such as manual lymph drainage.

As part of his hands-on education, Evan also participated in a variety of outreach opportunities in the local communities. Through experiencing a variety of different clinical environments in an outreach setting, Evan honed his manual skills on various population groups such as university athletes, elderly, cross-fitters, special needs and the general public via school clinic.

MASSAGE THERAPY TECHNIQUES

Evan combines a variety of modalities into his treatments which can include:

In addition, through introductory courses offered in school and after graduation, Evan has developed an interest in myofascial techniques and manual lymph drainage. An introduction to these modalities has given Evan a keen interest in exploring further post-graduate education to learn more about how this can help clients.

As a recent graduate, Evan has experience with numerous conditions and pathologies. Evan can help with anything from musculoskeletal conditions such as strains and sprains to systemic conditions such as stress reduction, pregnancy and fibromyalgia.

Evan brings with him over 5 years of experience of teaching in overseas in Japan as well as advanced knowledge in Pacific and Asian studies, particularly Japanese language, history and culture.
